As news of the untimely passing of DuShon Monique Brown sank in, the cast of Chicago Fire took to Twitter to express their shock and offer support. Brown died unexpectedly Friday at the age of 49. Brown, who played the no-nonsense assistant Connie, joined the Chicago Fire cast on a recurring basis during the show's first season in 2012 and appeared in 54 episodes.
