‘world War Z’ Sequel Gets A Release Date

The Wrap reports that Paramount Pictures has announced a June 9th, 2017 release date for director J.A. Bayona's ("The Impossible") sequel to "World War Z" starring Brad Pitt ("Fight Club"). The first "World War Z" told the story of a zombie virus outbreak from the point of view of United Nations investigator Gerry Lane (Pitt) as he traveled across the world to find answers on how to stop the pandemic before all of humanity is consumed by the zombie virus.
