A 1-year-old was transported to the hospital in serious condition after being hit by a car backing out of a driveway in Beaumont, according to Enterprise news partner 12News. The accident happened on the 2800 block of Houston Street. The girl was getting out of a car in a driveway when she ran behind another vehicle that was backing up and was hit, according to 12News.
