After 12 years serving pork, pork and more pork in Stapleton, The Berkshire restaurant is calling it quits at the beginning of February. The restaurant’s last day in business at 7352 E. 29th Ave. will be Sunday, Feb. 2. Fans can go for their last Berkshire brunch (9 a.m.-2 p.m.) that day, or celebrate at a farewell party Saturday night (following dinner service, 9 p.m.-close). Owners Andy and Krissy Ganick say rising rents, the higher minimum wage and staffing issues — alongside increased restaurant openings in the area and a low unemployment rate – led to their decision to close.
