LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County police say a nearly two-year investigation of a gang has led to more than a dozen arrests. Police said in a statement Tuesday that a probe into “La Gran Familia” revealed members were buying and selling cocaine, meth, Xanax, marijuana and weapons. Police say investigators tried serving 38 state felony arrest warrants and 22 federal arrest warrants on May 20 in Gwinnett County and other jurisdictions. During the warrant sweep, officials say investigators found ten firearms, more than $61,000 in cash and drugs. read more
