Two New York police officers died after a solo-shooter ambushed their patrol car earlier today. The officers were near Myrtle Avenue and Tompkins Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant when the 28-year-old gunman approached their car. At least one of the officers was shot in the head, police said. After firing on the officers, the man ran into a nearby subway station before shooting himself, an NYPD official said.
