2015 Oscar Predictions: Best Foreign Language Film

Indiewire will provide updates of our predictions for the 87th Academy Award nominations through January 2015, when the nominations are announced. Here are our early predictions for the Best Foreign Language Film, which has yet to finalize a list of official contenders (that'll happen by the end of September). Regular contenders like Italy, France and Spain have yet to announce, but they are already have a lot to go up against: Poland's "Ida" (a major box office hit), Sweden's "Force Majeure" (coming off raves at Toronto), Canada's "Mommy" (not an official selection yet -- but we can't imagine them not picking it), Turkey's "Winter Sleep" (which won the Palme D'Or at Cannes -- though isn't exactly the kind of film that typical thrives here).
