Since ticket packages are officially on sale for the 39th annual Denver Film Festival, it seems only right to reveal some of the actual movies and themed programming. That’s what Denver Film Society did yesterday in advance of the Nov. 2-13 event, which is expected to sell about 50,000 tickets to more than 200 films, panels, red carpet screenings and more this year. For 2016, the Denver Film Festival turns its national-cinema lens to Spain, following last year’s focus on Poland. “I’ve been wanting to include Spain as our Focus for a long time,” said Brit Withey, artistic director, in a press release.
