Precision farming is the application of technology to manage the heterogeneity within a field. Traditional agriculture considers a field as a homogeneous unit. Fields used tobe smaller and more uniform, and field boundaries were probably adapted to get uniform fields. Differential Correction
Differential correction can be post-processed or achieved in real-time. In most cases, real-time correction is acquired from a differential correction provider who computes timing errors and transmits the differential correction to GPS receivers in the local area.
