LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (AP) — Actor Danny Glover will receive a human rights award at a historic site in the Adirondacks honoring abolitionist John Brown. The first Spirit of John Brown Freedom Awards will be presented Saturday at the John Brown Farm State Historic Site near Lake Placid.
