The last thing Mark Purcell wanted to do was go back on his word. Not to anyone, but especially not to adults who fought to overcome stigma and self-doubt. "Two years ago, at the YMCA, we promised people a program," Purcell, the program facilitator for Read To Succeed, said last week.
