Advisory Board Approves Convention Center Construction Contract

By William Crum Staff Writer wcrum@oklahoman.comConstruction is set to begin in a few weeks on Oklahoma City's new downtown convention center, the most expensive of the MAPS 3 projects promised to voters in 2009. The MAPS 3 Citizens Advisory Board on Thursday approved a $168.2 million construction contract with Flintco LLC to build the convention center. The city council is expected to give the final go-ahead June 5.Read more on NewsOK.com
