Agency Seeks Comment On Arizona Memorial Tickets

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (AP) — The National Park Service is accepting feedback on its new offering of "next day" tickets for the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. The park service said Thursday it's making 300 tickets available to people who make reservations one day in advance using the recreation.gov reservation system. The agency began the new service last month. It did so after tour companies reserving tickets for large groups months in advance resulted in limited tickets being available for visitors who decided to go to Pearl Harbor after they arrived on Oahu. A maximum of 4,350 visitors may visit the memorial above the sunken battleship each day. The public may go the website www.parkplanning.nps.gov to submit comments.Read more on NewsOK.com
