Algonquin Houlihan's Closes

The Houlihan's location in Algonquin has closed down as of last week. According to a sign on the former restaurant and bar's door, it made the "difficult decision" to close on Nov. 12. "This decision was taken very seriously and many factors were taken into consideration," the sign said. "We would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the community and our loyal guests for their support and patronage over the past 13 years." The sign also said Algonquin team members were offered the opportunity to transfer to one of Houlihan's other Chicago-area restaurants.
