Sophia Bush was beaming as she stepped out with her new beau in Los Angeles, Calif., yesterday (May 24). The 30-year-old actress and her boyfriend, Google program manager Dan Fredinburg, were spotted leaving an office building before heading to a hair salon. The "One Tree Hill" star has reportedly been dating the 31-year-old hunk for a few months. They were photographed getting cozy at the Coachella Music Festival last month. But although she is happy with Fredinburg, Bush is apparently not so happy with the dozens of paparazzi who have been following them around. "Being chased around LA today by 5 carloads of these guys. Dudes. I am picking up juice and getting a haircut. This is not news. Perhaps focus on something interesting instead?" she wrote on Instagram May 24, posting a photo of the culprits. In terms of age and stature, Taylor Swift is sandwiched somewhere between Selena Gomez and Madonna -- at least according to last weekend's Billboard Music Awards, where Gomez represented the show's youngest performers and Madonna its most seasoned. In a new interview with Billboard, Swift reflects on that position, saying she looks up to the 54-year-old Madonna, who took home Top Touring Artist honors, and avoids doling out advice to younger stars like Gomez. "I never give advice unless someone asks me for it," she said when asked what lessons she would pass on to the 20-year-old Gomez and 19-year-old Ariana Grande. "One thing I've learned, and possibly the only advice I have to give, is to not be that person giving out unsolicited advice based on your own personal experience. I've always had a lot of older people giving me advice because I'm young, and in the end, it all comes down to who you want to be remembered as. Just be that." Swift also seems to acknowledge that her career is not identical to Madonna's early days. Swift has developed a clear identity, whereas Madonna quickly became known for constantly reinventing herself. "One element of Madonna's career that really takes center stage is how many times she's reinvented herself," Swift said when asked what she's learned from the original Material Girl's legacy. "It's easier to stay in one look, one comfort zone, one musical style. It's inspiring to see someone whose only predictable quality is being unpredictable." Before he became a Hollywood mogul, Tyler Perry endured a childhood that he says was wrought with violence. Physically abused by his father and sexually molested by other adults, Tyler was able to transcend his horrific childhood by writing stories -- and now, he lives in a Beverly Hills mansion on a mountaintop. But, Tyler says, that's not the way his life was supposed to turn out. In this clip from Tyler's appearance on "Oprah's Next Chapter," the one-man-entertainment machine confesses that his traumatic childhood and boyhood struggles should have set him down a very different path, a path that many young people have followed after experiencing the same injustices Tyler did. "Statistics say that I'm supposed to be in jail," Tyler says matter-of-factly. "And I'm not supposed to be alive." It may be hard to imagine now, given Tyler's success, but even when he was a young boy, Tyler lived with a sense of foreboding. "Even growing up, I thought I'd never live to see 30," he shares with Oprah. "Just did not believe that I would see 30 years old Everything around me said that [wasn't] supposed to happen." So, why did it? In the video, 43-year-old Tyler also reveals how he was able to defy the odds to become a success story, rising above his past and creating a life he'd never dreamed possible. Amanda Bynes is speaking out after her May 23 arrest. The troubled 27-year-old took to Twitter after being released from custody on Friday, saying she doesn't "drink or do drugs." Bynes was arrested and taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation before heading to a Midtown precinct to be processed after allegedly throwing a bong out of the window of her West 47th Street apartment. The former Nickelodeon star showed off her chopped hair in her mugshot photo, which made the rounds yesterday. In the picture, Bynes can be seen wearing a black sweatshirt and a scowl as she poses for police. She took to Twitter last night to share her thoughts on her arrest and startling mug, tweeting: I only smoke tobacco I don't drink or do drugs. I've never had a bong in my life! According to Celebuzz, although the judge waived bail yesterday, he warned her that he would impose a steep bail if Bynes gets arrested again or fails to show up for her next court appearance on July 9.
