Applebee’s Fundraiser Set To Help Injured Cuyahoga Falls Police Officer

An injured Cuyahoga Falls police officer’s medical bills will be supplemented by donations from patrons to an Applebee’s restaurant on Oct. 5.Officer Ted Davis was seriously wounded in July after a man allegedly crashed his car purposely into Davis’ cruiser during a pursuit. Donald Watson, who’s accused of driving the vehicle, faces felony charges of attempted murder, felonious assault, aggravated arson, failure to comply with the order of a police officer, vandalism and criminal damaging.Davis, according to a Facebook event about the fundraiser, continues to recover from his wounds.
