The thousands of people who grew up riding the carousel and Ferris wheel at the now-shuttered Heritage Amusement Park will have a chance next week to take a piece of the Golden attraction home. The beloved park’s rides and equipment will be auctioned on Oct. 25, three months after Heritage Amusement Park permanently closed. Hundreds of items and rides will sell to the highest bidder, including a 300-foot zip line, a 1977 Ferris wheel, three fleets of go karts, a 4-foot carving of a bear and the park’s entrance signs. Need a neighborhood Tilt-A-Whirl for the kids?
