Officials at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum of Aviation History in the Finger Lakes village of Hammondsport tell the Star-Gazette of Elmira (http://stargaz.tt/1ruxaKh ) that they're on schedule for a soft reopening during Memorial Day weekend. Work was begun in January on a $1.2 million interior renovation for the museum, dedicated to a native son and aviation pioneer who built many of his prototype planes in Hammondsport, located at the southern end of Keuka Lake.
