Bad Weather Slows Search For South Korea Ferry Survivors

Murky waters and strong currents hampered the search on Thursday for survivors of the South Korean ferry capsizing. Though 179 people have been rescued from the Wednesday disaster, emergency services say that 25 people have been confirmed dead and 271 people are still missing. South Korea’s president visited the wreckage site and emphasized the need for speed in the search, saying every second was important, according to the BBC.
