Bangor Superintendent Betsy Webb is one of three finalists in the running for a national award honoring female leaders in education. The School Superintendents Association, or AASA, will issue two Women in School Leadership awards at its national conference in February 2019. Webb is among three district superintendents in the running for the superintendent honor; there are two women in the running for an award honoring school principals or other school leaders. Webb is the only educator from Maine to be nominated.
