Banks To Be Briefed On 'stress Test' Results

Preliminary results show Bank of America and Citigroup among those needing to boost reserves, people familiar with the matter say. Analysts believe Wells Fargo also will have to take remedial action. Regulators plan to brief the nation's largest banks today on the final results of federal tests to determine whether the companies have sufficient reserves to weather the recession.
