The Batman: Andy Serkis Rumored For Unspecified Role

Andy Serkis is reportedly set to play a role in Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman. Batman on Film reports the rumour, detailing that Serkis has been cast in an unspecified non-motion-capture role. That means we’ll actually be seeing Serkis’ physical face and form in the movie, which potentially rules out some of Batman’s more monster-like foes that would likely be rendered in CGI, such as Clayface. Serkis and Reeves have a professional history, with the pair working together on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes.
