The Batman may still be more than a year from release, but Warner Bros. is already keen on expanding this new incarnation of the franchise. The studio has ordered a spinoff TV series focused on the members of the Gotham City Police Department, one that will be exclusive to HBO Max. Variety broke the news, reporting that Warners has already given the spinoff a series order.
