Baylor women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey was in Tennessee in May. She didn't want to visit her old coach Pat Summitt, who was suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. but finally, at her son Kramer's urging, she relented. "I didn't want to remember her this way," Mulkey said. Mulkey said she found Summitt looked "fine" physically but "mentally she was pretty gone." When it was obvious that there would be no real conversation, Mulkey said she just kept "hugging" Summitt, who now and then would take a swig out of a Gatorade bottle just as she did on the University of Tennessee women's basketball bench.
