The Crystal Lake Park District is hosting its annual Beach Bash on Saturday. The free event will start at 9 a.m. at Crystal Lake Main Beach, 300 Lakeshore Drive. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. for the playground, which was remodeled and finished in May. Half-priced boat rentals and raffle drawings will take place throughout the day.
