"Bands, Beer, Brats - the 2015 Benefit for the McBride Scholarships at Lakeland - will begin at 4 p.m., Sept. 26, at Fairport VFW Post 7754, 540 New St. in Fairport Harbor. Fairport Harbor Police Association and the Cleveland Police Pipes and Drums Band are supporting the effort, and there will be performances by the Pipes and Drums, Shannon's Country Western Mystery Band and soloist Jimmy Brymer will perform.
