Bethesda-based First Potomac Realty Trust will sell 6.5 million shares in a secondary offering at $14.70 per share, up from an initial plan to sell 6 million shares. The offering will net First Potomac $91.1 million. Underwriters have the option to buy an additional 975,000 shares. The offering is expected to close May 24. First Potomac will use the proceeds to pay down debt. The offering price is below First Potomac's current share price, sending its stock down 19 cents to $15 per share in Tuesday…

The Georgia Supreme Court has agreed to a voluntary reprimand sought by Georgia Democratic Party Chairman Mike Berlon for violating legal ethics. Berlon, a lawyer from Gwinnett County and member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1993, was accused of failing to diligently pursue a child custody case that originated in 2004 and misrepresenting the status of the case to his client. Hill Country Barbecue Market wants to host an outdoor venue with tents, food and beverage sales and live music in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood, according to a permit issued by the District. That isn't surprising. Hill Country opened a similar pop-up restaurant May 2 on the lawn of the National Building Museum. However, the potential pop-up at 101 S. Tingey St. SE (next to Yards Park) isn't a done deal yet.
