Bernanke Urges Bold Action To Avoid Lengthy Slump

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on Tuesday urged bold action action to pull the economy out of a deepening slump, even if it means a surge in U.S. government debt.
