Beware: Feral Hogs On Rise In County

While officials say The Woodlands has been spared, extension agent says hogs can infiltrate urban areas Feral hogs - which some find more pesky than mosquitoes and more invasive than fire ants - are alive and well in Montgomery County. Keith Crenshaw, with the Houston branch of Texas Parks and Wildlife's Urban Wildlife Program, said that swine in the city stay near drainage ditches and flood control corridors.
