Biddeford Maker Of Ultralight Outdoors Gear Raises $1.1 Million

Biddeford-based Hyperlite Mountain Gear said it has completed a $1.1 million round of financing to expand production as well as research and development capacity. The company, which has about 50 employees, said in a news release that it also will use the funds to begin introducing automation to its manufacturing facility in Biddeford.
