ROGERSVILLE — The Cherokee boys broke out the brooms Friday night against Sullivan South. After taking a 62-59 win on the Rebels’ home court earlier this season, the Chiefs completed the season sweep with a 56-51 win back on their own home court. Cherokee coach Tyler Webb said the nonconference basketball games with South are a good measuring stick for his team because they’re comparable to what the Chiefs see week in and week out in the Big 7 Conference. “They have a lot of good guards and they are very quick,” Webb said of the Rebels.
