A helicopter was sent to a cruise liner in the Gulf of Mexico Saturday afternoon to pick up a blood sample from a Dallas health care worker aboard the ship, who is being monitored for signs of Ebola, officials said. Texas health officials felt it necessary to collect a blood sample from the Dallas lab worker aboard The Carnival Magic before the ship's scheduled arrival into Galveston Saturday afternoon, cruise line officials said in a prepared statement on Saturday.
