Today (July 21) is the first day of this year’s Gospel Fest, a five-day series of events featuring gospel music and Christian messages at Tennessee’s oldest Lutheran church. “It’s a time of fellowship and sharing God’s love with one another in a way that’s different from Sunday morning,” says Mary Louise Sitton, pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church, which is hosting the annual event for the 14th time this week. “The idea for us always is to open our doors.
