FROM STAFF REPORTSThe body of a Piedmont man who disappeared in Oregon last year apparently has been identified, according to the Harney County sheriff’s office in Oregon. Dustin Rollin Self, who was 19 at the time, left his Piedmont home in March 2013 to take a long camping trip on Steens Mountain in southeastern Oregon after being inspired by the movie “Into the Wild.” The mountain was undergoing heavy snow and freezing temperatures, authorities said. He was reported missing by his family after they received a cell phone message stating he was lost in southern Harney County, authorities said.Read more on NewsOK.com
