La Center trailed 30-27 at the break before going on a 23-10 run in the third quarter to take the lead for good over the 2A Hawks. La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said he challenged his Wildcats to attack the rim to begin the third quarter, which in turn, opens up shooters.
