Bringhurst, Columbia River Win 2a Golf District Titles

A freshman and the Columbia River boys golf team came out on top in a very unusual finish at the Class 2A district golf tournament in Chehalis. Ridgefield’s Cade Bringhurst, a freshman, posted a easy win, cutting four strokes off his first-round to post a four-shot win at 144. Bringhurst shot 76 on Tuesday and an even-par 72 on Wednesday. Columbia River’s Kyle Gomez also cut four shots off his first-round score.
