Burning Man Versus The Cocktail Party

Yow Dance, which last year staged "Classically Demented" at the Fringe, once again visits the realm of fairy tales in "Once Upon a Wonderland." But unfortunately, the magic has faded in this muddled journey that sees dance and storyline compete with rather than complement one another.    

First off, this show is not about terrorism. It's about the Boy Scouts, kind of. And it's about a boy's coming of age, after a fashion. OK, I'm not sure exactly what this show is striving to be. But really it's mostly about Jimmy Grzelak, the writer-performer of the one-man production.    

Aji Slater is happy to be a geek — more specifically, happy to be a juggling geek. (Some might say a juggling fool, but that's a different thing altogether.)    

"Stained Glass Windows" covers familiar territory — a gay teen's coming out — with a twist. Playwright Steve Sherman shows the audience four different ways that young David's news could be received by his parents.
