Car, Train Collide In Glenolden; No Injuries

GLENOLDEN >> Vehicle brakes reportedly failed at the most inopportune time over the weekend when a car struck a moving train on Ashland Avenue in Glenolden on Saturday. A car with an unknown number of occupants traveling east failed to stop before colliding with the B&O train that had been moving through the intersection on the single track along MacDade Avenue, police said.
