Celebrations At Standing Rock After The Army Says It Won’t Grant Easement

The army announced Sunday that it would not grant an easement for the Dakota Access Pipeline to be built under Lake Oahe in North Dakota. The news came as a victory to thousands of protesters, who call themselves water protectors, and have been camped out near the worksite for months.
