"Star Trek" star Chris Pine has begun negotiations for the male lead in the "Wonder Woman" movie at Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics. Pine would play Steve Trevor, the primary love interest of Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) and in the comics an American military hero. Patty Jenkins is helming the female superhero movie following in the wake of the departure of Michelle MacLaren last month over creative differences. "Wonder Woman" is set for release on June 23rd 2017. Source: Heat Vision
