Paramount Pictures is said to be looking at Chris Pratt to relaunch its action franchise The Saint. As reported by Deadline, sources have "cautioned this is early days, but that the hope is to build the film around the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World franchise star." Based on Simon Templar, who was created by Leslie Charteris in 1928, The Saint character has been portrayed by such actors as Roger Moore of James Bond fame and, most recently, by Val Kilmer in 1997. Not much is known about the reboot, except that Lorenzo di Bonaventura will be producing the film.
