BOSTON — The Callahan Tunnel in Boston has reopened after a $19 million makeover. The two-lane tunnel that carries traffic from downtown to Logan International Airport reopened at about 4:45 a.m. Monday, two days ahead of schedule. The 52-year-old tunnel was closed for renovations on Dec. 27, creating traffic headaches for commuters and residents.
