CLOVIS — A local Clovis resident may be on the brink of having to find new homes for treasured pets she’s had on her property on Maple Street for more than 13 years. But these aren’t cats and dogs. Mary-Beth Bouchard has seven chickens that live in her front yard. Each has its own name, and some were rescues from local farmers. “I’m disabled — I hurt my back when I was young — and these are what I get up for in the morning,” said Bouchard.
