(AP) — Pelicans coach Monty Williams says he hopes New Orleans can keep 7-foot center Omer Asik and figure out how to help point guard Jrue Holiday get past a lower right leg injury that has sidelined him for much of the past two seasons. Williams says Asik, who'll be a free agent after averaging 7.3 points and 9.8 rebounds, played a central role on defense as he became more comfortable in New Orleans' system and is "highly valued" by the club.
