College Football Covid Updates: Oklahoma-west Virginia Game Postponed Until Dec. 12

Clemson was set to return all 11 defensive starters in 2021, but one of those won't return. Sophomore linebacker Mike Jones Jr. is in transfer portal.        

The University of Michigan is pausing all athletics "until further notice" and for up to two weeks due to confirmed cases of B.1.1.7 COVID-19 variant.        

Peyton Manning suggested the Volunteers hire someone like Duke's Kevin White. They hired his son, Danny.        

The entire enterprise could look different at the end of 2021 than it did at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.        

Danny White was hired as Tennessee athletics director on Friday. He previously was the AD at Central Florida and Buffalo.        

Alan Bowman will be a sophomore in 2021 because of the eligibility year granted during the COVID-19 disrupted season.
