Colorado Springs-area, Statewide High School Graduation Rates Continuing To Rise

High school graduation rates in the Colorado Springs area outpaced statewide rates, which continued to inch upward last year, according to statistics released Thursday by the Colorado Department of Education. Dropout rates also are showing slight improvement. Statewide, 78.9 percent of students in the class of 2016 graduated from high school in four years, up from 77.3 percent in 2015.
