Pew study: Tablet users don't want to pay for news

share: digg facebook twitter NEW YORK (AP) — Although tablet owners spend more time consuming news than poking around on Facebook, they're reluctant to pay for news content. Consuming news is one of the most popular activities, up there with email and more popular than social networking. Apps, it turns out, are not the most popular way to access news content.

Senh: That sounds about right. Only hardcore users will want to pay for something. It's like that on every content site. In IGN, only about 15% of their users pay for premium content.
