In the opening scene (which is so epic), Dr. King Schultz pays the injured brother, buying Django and the dead brother's horse. The first and second time I saw this movie it struck me as very odd. I definitely feel he planned both the brothers to be dead soon. So why pay money to a man you know is about to die anyway?
