The one-way traffic labyrinth in Lower Queen Anne, which extends east to South Lake Union, will experience several changes in the coming months, with Mercer Street, Roy Street and Queen Anne Avenue North to transition to two-way traffic, according to a Wednesday statement from the Seattle Department of Transportation. The changes are part of the Mercer Corridor project that has transitioned Mercer Street near Interstate 5 to a two-way corridor recently and has continued to plague the Lower Queen Anne and Seattle Center areas with traffic slowdowns during road construction.
