FROM STAFF REPORTSMIDWEST CITY — A man wanted in an animal cruelty case turned himself in early Wednesday at the Oklahoma County jail, authorities report. Corey Marion Harrison, 26, was jailed on animal cruelty charges, police reported. Authorities were looking for Harrison after a pair of emaciated dogs were found abandoned in a Midwest City apartment. One of the dogs — a 6-month-old puppy — died Monday, unable to recover from numerous medical complications, a pet rescue official said. Harrison was charged Friday in Oklahoma County District Court with two counts of animal cruelty.Read more on NewsOK.com
